Good: Roads are usually accessible, call ahead to let ranger know you are coming. You are close to civilization if you forget something.
Bad: The road to get to Sterling Lake is not for your street car. You need to use a vehicle with clearance. You could do it with the mini van but you'd have to take it very slow.
